A growing and highly respected Central Florida family law practice is seeking an experienced Florida-licensed Family Law Attorney to join its team. The ideal candidate will be confident managing a family law caseload from inception through resolution, possess strong litigation and negotiation skills, and demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and exceptional client service.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a family law caseload from intake through final resolution.
- Conduct client consultations and develop case strategies.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence.
- Represent clients at hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials.
- Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients throughout the litigation process.
- Maintain proactive communication with clients regarding case progress.
- Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure exceptional client service.
- Manage deadlines while maintaining accurate and timely case documentation.
Qualifications:
- Active member in good standing with The Florida Bar.
- Minimum of 3 years of Florida family law experience preferred.
- Experience handling contested family law matters.
- Strong courtroom, mediation, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent legal writing and oral advocacy skills.
- Ability to independently manage a busy caseload.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Commitment to professionalism, integrity, and client-centered representation.
